ALL GOOD WISHES FOR CHRISTMAS

NEW! Easy for Beginners! This easy-to-stitch kit is inspired by the old-fashioned one cent postcards of the Victorian era. This warm greeting reads "All good wishes for Christmas" and is a great kit to try if you have never tried punched paper embroidery. Stitched in traditional reds and greens, this kit should take about 6 hours to complete. Makes a thoughtful Christmas gift!

Finished size is 8.5"X21". All of our kits include pre-stamped natural brown perforated paper, floss, gold needle and full instructions. Frames are not included.

Stitching Instructions

Before you begin your motto, please read the Vintage Needleworks Stitching Guide completely. This is enclosed in your kit.  Begin your motto by satin stitching the letters using the variegated red floss provided in your kit. The holly berries should be satin stitched in red. Next, using the green floss, stitch the holly leaves using a satin stitch. The holly leaves can be satin stitched from left to right or you can satin stitch to the middle of the leaf to create the appearance of a vein in the leaf. Then starting from the other side of the holly leaf, stitch back to the "middle vein" to fill it in completely. Refer to the picture for additional help. Relax and Enjoy!
