ABOUT VINTAGE NEEDLEWORKS

Vintage Needleworks is our small, family owned business, born out of a love for godly values and my own mothers vintage needlework. Growing up in New England,  I was surrounded by many beautiful antiques.  Among these were beautifully stitched mottos or "yard longs". They were usually heralding scriptural wisdom or godly advice as their themes.  These were quiet reminders in our home of "expected behavior."

I wanted to reproduce these mottos for my own home to share the values that we hold dear with our children.  I began to reproduce our families' many mottos with exciting results and motto "fever" began to spread.  Each pattern was reproduced by hand in order to be as authentic to the original as possible.  Soon my sisters wanted these patterns, then friends... and here we are!

I hope that you enjoy these heirlooms as much as I do.
